Keeping the importance of this in mind, UPES AAPG Student Chapter organizes a series of workshops delivered by renowned industry experts of the oil and gas domain, to build a realistic platform for the students to bridge the distance between theoretical and practical domains. In the constantly growing world of oil and gas, it is essential to engender a deep understanding of its dimensions and its applications.

UPES AAPG Student Chapter feels elated to announce that we will be conducting an illuminating workshop under the banner of “AAPG Pinnacle Series” on the 1st of July on the topic: AI-ML Applications in the Oil and Gas Industry.
We are incredibly privileged to have Mr. Dilip Kumar Mahata, a Geophysicist working at Oil India limited with 13+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry, as our distinguished speaker for the workshop. He has handled several explorations, appraisal, and development projects from various basins and is proficient in pore pressure prediction and project management.

UPES AAPG Student Chapter is pleased to present before you an enriching session under the banner of "AAPG Pinnacle Series: Session 2", a 2-day workshop on 3rd and 4th September, 2021 in collaboration with 'Petroleum From Scratch' on the topic 'Solving Core Engineering Problems with the Help of Data Analytics'.
We are honored to have Mr. Jaiyesh Chahar, an alumnus (APE-UPSTREAM) from UPES Dehradun working as a Machine Learning & Data Analytics Consultant- Oil & Energy Projects Data Scientist. He has actively maintained a Github repository for sharing Projects with the community and is the Co-Founder of 'Petroleum from Scratch'.

We, UPES AAPG Student Chapter present before you an enlightening workshop under the banner of "AAPG Pinnacle Series'' on 16th June 2021 on the topic: Seismic Data Interpretation.
It is a great honour to have Mr. Ozbil Yapar, Team Leader at Turkish Petroleum Exploration Department Eastern Black Sea, presently working on Ordu-3D Seismic data for prospect generation, maturation, and evaluation with his team. Sir has also organized several interpreted data sets for regional basin analysis as well as reorganized 2D/3D seismic databases, and mentored many summer interns utilizing DSG Landmark and Petrel software.
