Spirit of Independence
​
UPES AAPG Student Chapter, organized ‘Spirit of Independence’ to celebrate the excitement of Independence Day. During the event, flags were pinned on the shirts of people, and also flags were painted on the hands and faces of people. People wrote about the event on the charts that we had pinned on soft boards. Along with this, we had plain cards on which students could write snippets related to the theme ‘patriotism’ and participate in our snippet writing competition. The event was organized from 10:30 am – 4:30 pm, during which hundreds of people came to get the flags pinned on their shirts and painted on their hands, around 40-50 people wrote messages on charts including faculty and 35 students wrote snippets out of which 3 winners were declared.
Yoga Session
UPES AAPG Student Chapter organized ‘Yoga Session’ on the occasion of Independence Day, in collaboration with Dr. D.K. Gupta at 7.30 am in Tapovan Quadrangle. The event saw huge participation with around 60-70 people including students and faculties.


Grow Green: Plantation Drive

UPES AAPG Student Chapter organized a plantation drive on the 1st of September 2019 in Dehradun Public School, wherein we planted as many saplings as we could and tried to make the world a better place by doing our tiny bit.

UDGAM CSR Visit

In an effort to change the world one smile at a time completing another successful social drive, we, UPES AAPG Student Chapter, visited a primary school in Bidholi as a part of our CSR activities along with the UDGAM Welfare Society celebrating happiness and rejoice. Winter Caps were distributed to children from our side.


Bihar & Assam Floods Relief
We conducted an online donation drive to help flood impacted personnel in Bihar& Assam, via their respective Chief Ministers Relief Fund (CMRF) portal. Again, we uploaded the link and requested everyone to help as much as they could.
Cyclone Fani Relief Campaign

We organized an online donation drive to help flood impacted personnel in Odisha, via their Chief Ministers Relief Fund (CMRF) portal. We uploaded the link for donation and circulated it wherever we all could to do our bit.


World Environment Day
UPES AAPG Student Chapter, in collaboration with UPES SPE Student Chapter, organized an online Donation drive in association with “Give Me Trees” organisation, where a tree was planted on every donation that was made.
