Spirit of Independence
"Celebrating 72 years of our independence, we commemorated our national heroes and flagged off our tenure 2018/19 with our annual Spirit of Independence. As the nation celebrated we indulged with students and asked them to share their love for the nation. More than an event SOI was an honor to conduct as we celebrated patriotism in a mass.
Apne Sapne
"There is only one happiness in life, to love and be loved." Smiles were spread and hearts touched with UPES AAPG Student Chapter social visit to "Apne Sapne", a noble initiative to provide underprivileged kids from across Dehradun with basic education for them to build a future of their own. With the intent to donate stationery, and spend a day in the ever-cheerful presence of those little bundles of joy, always eager to learn something new, the special day was a heart-warming experience for our team of volunteers. Amidst the fun and frolic, we learned not only the value of a smile but also the fulfillment one gets from making someone smile. The initiative was applauded by one as we spread happiness in hearts.
SADAQAH'19
With a conscience to share happiness and bring a smile we, the UPES AAPG Student Chapter, conducted our iconic donation drive across campus: Sadaqah 19 on the 2nd of February 2019. Exceeding our own expectations we collected a huge sum of money as well as goods across all schools of the Bidholi Campus under the guidance of our SDS.
